What you need to know:
Nothing is known about Libby, except that she apparently was sitting in the tail section of the plane. At the time of the crash, she was wearing a halter dress. She is one of the caretakers of Emma and Zack. Libby is one of the five remaining tailies when Jin, Sawyer and Michael encounter them. She submits to Ana-Lucia’s leadership, following orders without question.
After Shannon is shot by Ana Lucia, Libby stands up to Ana, by refusing to tie up Sayid, and insisting that Ana needs to let the fuselage survivors go.

Libby is a Clinical Psychologist and admits that she spent a year in medical school, before dropping out. She also tells a story about breaking her leg during a ski trip, as she sets the broken leg of a man named Donald, who later dies from the infection in his leg.
On the way to the second station, Libby talks with Michael and tells him there were 23 survivors from the rear section of the plane. As they hike to the middle section survivor’s camp, Libby talks to Sawyer and tells him his wound isn’t good, but that it isn’t too bad either. When Sawyer passes out, she helps Michael and Jin with the stretcher.
Libby builds her camp with the help of Hurley. Later, Hurley’s comments to Charlie indicate he harbors an attraction towards her. When doing laundry with Libby, Hurley comments that he may have met her somewhere else. She distracts him by trying on a small, purple top and says that Hurley had stepped on her foot while boarding flight 815.
Interesting Things to Know:
Libby is Hebrew for “consecrated to God”.
