LIVE Show - Friday, September 5th 8PM EST
Written by Luke Brown
Monday, 18 August 2008
On Friday, September 5th 2008 at 8PM EST we'll be recording a LIVE podcast (probably on TalkShoe) and we'd like you to join us.

The live shows are recorded using a service called Talkshoe, and you can join in the discussion in two or three easy steps:

   1. Go to Talkshoe.com and register for a free account, which will get you your 9 digit pin number.

   2. When it comes time for the show call this phone number: (724) 444-7444, it will prompt you for the “Talkcast ID” which is: 15223, and it will then ask for your pin number.  You can also use the ShoePhone software for free to talk in the podcast, this is included in the latest version of the TalkShoe software. If you wish to use a third party VOIP service; the IP address is 66.212.134.192

   3. (Optional) Download and install the Talkshoe software. This will enable you to participate in the live chat room while our show is being recorded, and will give you the ability to request permission to speak.

   4. You can also chat online using the online chat room, which is easier to use, but does get out of sync after a while.

Please feel free to watch the Finale again if you still have a recording, as we'll be discussing both it, and the 2008 Comic Con in the live show.  Most importantly bring all your theories along!

We would also like to poll people to see how many people will be joining us for our live show before we start it.  In this way we can plan how we will be doing the show and possibly use other services in addition to TalkShoe.  If you are going to be joining us please click the link below and hit 'Yes'

We hope you join us!

Where are the Initial Reactions?
Written by Luke Brown
Sunday, 01 June 2008
The initial reactions for the entire finale (that's 4x12-13/14) will be posted up later this week.  I'm still trying to understand the lot myself, let alone do a writeup!

If anyone is interested over at YTAL we are going to be doing a LIVE show via TalkShoe in a few weeks time (more info to come on that soon).  Let me know if you are interested!

Hopefully we'll keep generating some content throughout the hiatus.

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't get an initial reactions post out last week.  I've had a lot going on at home...  I'll post up initial reactions as usual tonight after the episode.

Once again, sorry about my absense from the site, but I'm back for good now anyway Smile

Thanks,
Luke

2 new sneak peek videos have been released, they are from 4x03.

These could well explain how 2 other Losties get off the island - so beware of this before watching.  They are spoilers!

Now the above video I found interesting - I guess this could be an explanation on how Hurley got off the island...

NEW - Syndicated LOST Cartoons at BR
Tuesday, 16 October 2007
toon-2_03.jpgAfter 3 full seasons, and many long summers, since the first episode of the hit television series LOST premiered, its become more and more difficult to find fresh, fun, and cool LOST related items on the web.  The show has spawned thousands of websites, blogs, podcasts, and other creative outlets for its many fans, but as the years press on, the websites you find are becoming more and more of the same old stuff.  However, every once in a while you can still find something unique.

Starting today, The Black Rock will have a syndicated LOST Cartoon strip on our front page featuring a weekly caricature parody of LOST brought to you by The LOST Boys PROJECT (or LBP as the cool kids refer to it).  These fantastic toons have been seen and commented on by many, including Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Gregg Nations (Lost Script Coordinator).  Jorge Garcia even referred to the LBP creator with "Dude!"  How much better does it get than that?

The weekly toons are available on the right side of the front page of this site.  Simply click on one of the toon titles to be taken to the LBP website, or hover over the link to view a popup of the toon parody.

If you'd like to learn more about the man behind these toons and how The LOST Boys PROJECT started, then read on...

New Cast Members Announced
Written by Jugdish
Tuesday, 28 August 2007
20070828.jpgThis Article may contain very light spoilers for some.

Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof have announced that there will be five new cast members during season 4 of Lost. The show had just started filming the new season when word of the new members was announced.  Joining the outstanding cast will be: Jeff Fahey (The Lawnmower Man, The Grindhouse), Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan), Lance Reddick (The Wire), Ken Leung (The Sopranos) and British actress Rebecca Mader (The Devil Wears Prada, Love Monkey). The producers are most excited about Jeff Fahey joining the cast. Carlton Cuse states the Fahey "has the most intense eyes of any guy out there." Lindelof adds "Fahey is one of those actors that feels like he fits into the Lost model." "He’s enormously talented and will be vaguely recognizable to some people, but he will be able to land on our island without most people going, "Oh I know who that guy is. And especially for the part we cast him for, he has exactly the right sensibilities." Did Damon just give a clue away about where we will see Fahey. Sounds like he will be on the island. Could he be Jacob?
