Wanna know more?
Aaron Littleton was originally going to be adopted after he was born. A psychic told Claire that she must raise the baby herself. However, when Claire made it known she wasn't keeping the baby; the psychic soon changed his story and convinced Claire that there was a family in LA that wanted to adopt her child. The psychic paid her to travel to LA aboard Flight 815 - seemingly aware that the plane would crash and force Claire to raise the child.
Aaron was born on the island during s1-ep20, “Do No Harm”. He was delivered by Kate while Jack was busy trying to save Boone. Jin and Charlie were also present at the birth. Charlie called him "Turniphead" until he was named. Charlie seems to think of himself as his surrogate father. His actual father was Claire's artist boyfriend Thomas, who deserted her in Australia.
Just a few days old, Aaron was kidnapped by Rousseau in hopes that she would be able to get her daughter, Alex, back from The Others. This attempt fails when Danielle is unable to find the Others and is caught by Sayid and Charlie, who return Aaron to his mother.
Shortly after burning the drug runner plane, Charlie begins to have vivid dreams that Aaron is in danger. These dreams spur Charlie into abducting Aaron and attempting to baptize him. However, Locke returns Aaron to Claire. She then asks Mr. Eko to baptise her and Aaron.
Interesting Things to Know:
In Hebrew and Arabic, Aaron means “bearer of martyrs, shining light, high mountain, messenger.”
